The ARKE project explores how to strengthen privacy for Celo’s users who want to transact with their contacts via Valora’s send-to-phone-number feature.

The ARKE project will explore how to enhance ODIS combining methodologies from identity-based cryptography, multi-party computation, and end-to-end encrypted messaging to reduce the need for rate limiting and discovery request fees. Additionally, ARKE may help to unlock additional features like secure escrow accounts or a decentralized architecture for end-to-end encrypted messaging with privacy-preserving contact discovery.
